ACL return-to-sport training in Miami
Finishing physical therapy is not the same as being ready to cut, sprint and compete. Crown builds the bridge after ACL, LCL, MCL and PCL injuries, with testing that shows when you are ready.
After your medical clearance
Your surgeon and physical therapist lead early rehab and decide when you can progress. Once you are cleared to train, Roger takes over the performance side: rebuilding strength, power, landing and cutting mechanics, and sprint speed. Read the full return-to-sport process.
Testing drives the plan
Force plates show jump and landing differences between legs. Dynamometer testing compares strength between sides, and isoinertial power testing shows how much power you produce under load. These numbers set benchmarks and show progress.
The process
Assess
Strength, power and landing tests, side to side.
Rebuild
Progressive strength and power work for the whole leg, hip and trunk.
Return to speed
Sprinting, deceleration and change of direction in stages.
Sport and load
Sport-specific drills and load management as you return to competition.
Testing and tools we use
Force plates
Measure jump, landing and strength asymmetries between left and right so training targets the real gap.
Dynamometer testing
Objective strength readings for key muscle groups, used to track progress and guide return-to-sport decisions.
Isoinertial power testing
Quantifies power output under load to set training loads and see how an athlete is trending across a season.
InBody body composition
Muscle mass and body fat tracked precisely, so nutrition and training decisions rest on data.
FAQ
How long does ACL return to sport take?
Timelines depend on your surgery, your surgeon's protocol and your progress. Roger works to benchmarks, not a fixed date, and follows your medical team's guidance.
Do you work with LCL, MCL and PCL injuries too?
Yes. Ligament injuries all follow the same pattern: testing, progressive rebuild and staged return to speed and sport, once cleared.
Can I do this online?
Online coaching can guide your program from anywhere. Testing is best done in person in Miami when possible.
Ready to train with Crown?
